Epoxy Floor Questions, Answered
How long does it take to install an epoxy garage floor?
Most standard two-car garages are finished in one day: we prep, repair, coat and seal the floor in a single visit. Larger spaces or slabs that need heavy repair can take longer, and we confirm the schedule in writing before we start.
How soon can I walk and park on my new floor?
Light foot traffic is usually fine the next day. Vehicle traffic typically resumes a few days later, depending on the coating system and the temperature. We give you exact timing for your floor on install day.
Will the coatings smell up my house?
We use low-odor, ultra-low-VOC coatings made to Southern California's strict SCAQMD air-quality standards, so most families stay home during the install.
What warranty do you offer?
Every residential coating we install is backed by our Lifetime Adhesion Warranty. If the coating ever lifts or peels from the concrete because of a bonding failure, we fix it. Ask us for the written terms during your consultation.
How much does an epoxy garage floor cost?
Price depends on square footage, the condition of the concrete, and the finish you choose (flake, metallic or custom color). We give free, no-obligation, in-person quotes with physical color samples so the number you see is the number you pay.
Where do you install epoxy floors?
Our office is in Palm Desert, and we serve the entire Coachella Valley, including Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, La Quinta and Indio, as well as the Phoenix metro area in Arizona.
Will hot tires damage an epoxy floor in desert heat?
Hot-tire pickup happens when a thin coating is rolled onto concrete that was not properly prepared. We mechanically prep the slab and use industrial-strength coatings built to resist hot tires, even in Coachella Valley summers.
